Lamont Financial Group Newsletter

March 2017 Newsletter

We have some exciting news!

After 3+ years of ownership, Edgar Financial Group has been rebranded to LAMONT FINANCIAL GROUP.  Many of you have asked me when I was going to change the name, but I wanted to keep Robin’s name in the business for some time as she helped build a great brand that many of you have grown to know and trust.  Yet, it was time for a change and we are excited for what lies ahead.  I want to add our phone number and office location will stay the same along with our Broker Dealer, Securities America.

Office Updates:

The investment world has changed radically over the last few years.  Not only are there a variety of new investment products, financial information sources, and technologies, but the DOL Fiduciary Rule that was recently passed will change how most of you will work with a financial advisor.  In an effort to increase the value of my services to you, I would like to make you aware of an alternative money management approach called Managed Opportunities, which I think you may find appealing.  If we have not talked about this, please call our office today to schedule an appointment.

Staff Updates:

Dawn Hood:  She has been with our office for almost a year and a half now. She continues to learn and grow in her position, and enjoys getting to know each of you. If you haven’t had a chance to chat with her on the phone give our office a call.

Kris Lamont:  After 1,500+ hours of classwork and studying through Bryant University over a 10-month period, I sat for and passed the CFP® exam in March of 2016.  It has been my goal for many years to attain these marks and I could not be happier to be more educated in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and retirement planning.

We would like to thank you for your continued support.  We appreciate your business and want to make sure that your strategies and investment choices continue to fit your financial goals.

Taking the time to periodically monitor, and if necessary, alter your plans now may leave you in a better position to build financial security.  While I do not provide legal or tax advice, I can work closely with your attorney and accountant to help ensure a well-rounded plan.

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
